Dr C.D. Dayanand, Professor of Biochemistry and Head of the School of Allied Health Sciences, has assumed the position of Dean of the Faculty of Allied & Healthcare Professions for the second time.

He began his career as a Tutor and rose through Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor to Professor of Biochemistry at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College and at the University, and has guided M.Phil and Ph.D. candidates throughout.
