Dr D V L N Prasad teaches Physiology across MBBS, MD, M.Sc, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, and has served as internal and external examiner for universities within and outside the state.

As Registrar (Evaluation) he brought several reforms and student-friendly initiatives to the examination process. He has several publications to his credit and is a mentor and guide to research scholars.
